MAREN MORRIS ANNOUNCES FIRST HEADLINE TOUR
The HERO Tour 2017 TO KICKOFF FEBRUARY 2017
Nashville, TN – Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter Maren Morris announces her first-ever headline tour, The HERO Tour 2017, with 11 shows being announced now and more to announce in the coming weeks.
The HERO Tour 2017 kicks off February 2017 in the North East with stops in major U.S. markets including Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, as well as shows in Houston and Dallas, with more to come.
Tickets for The HERO Tour 2017 go on sale this Friday, October 21.

Morris, whose 2016 has been filled with critical acclaim for her debut album, HERO, which released in June, has seen her share of the road. She will wrap the 50+ city, six month, Keith Urban “ripCORD World Tour 2016” on November 19th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to releasing her major label debut album and bringing her unique style of Country music to her fans, she has been recognized by the Country music industry with FIVE nominations, including Album of the Year (HERO), Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (“My Church”), Song of the Year (“My Church) and New Artist of the Year, for the upcoming 50th Annual CMA Awards, to be held on November 2.

26 Year-old Columbia Nashville singer/songwriter Maren Morris has quickly established herself with vocal styling’s that reflect her country, folk and pop influences. Armed with sheer talent, honest lyrics and a completely magnetic presence, Morris has entered the Country music genre like a lioness. Morris’ label-debut album, HERO, released via Columbia Nashville on June 3 and one week after it was available HERO entered the Billboard Country Albums chart at No. 1 and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart in the U.S., which spans across all genres, with 45,000 total units. With this, the Arlington, Texas native became the first artist in the history of Columbia Nashville to open at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts with a debut album in the Soundscan era. Morris’ debut single from HERO, “My Church,” set a record at Country radio by having the most chart reporting stations to play a debut single by a country artist with 107 stations the week it hit the airwaves in addition to being certified PLATINUM by the RIAA in the U.S. She tied for the most nominations with FIVE at the 50th Annual CMA Awards, including Album of the Year (HERO), Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year (“My Church”), Song of the Year (“My Church) and New Artist of the Year.
