Columbia Records’ pop singer/songwriter Julia Brennan has shared the music video for her heartfelt, piano-laced debut single “Inner Demons,” watch today: http://smarturl.it/InnerDemonsVid. The beautifully shot video stars Julia as she’s trapped by her own inner demons while she begins with the lyrics: They say don’t let them in / Close your eyes and clear your thoughts again / But when I’m all alone, they show up on their own. Her beau searches high and low throughout the house for her, but he can only see Julia through mirrors. Take a behind-the-scenes look at “Inner Demons” here: http://smarturl.it/InnerDemons_BTS.

At just 18 years-old, the Minneapolis-bred singer/songwriter self-released her first few songs last summer and quickly caught the attention of her hometown pop radio station, KDWB 101.3 FM. The reaction to “Inner Demons” was instantaneous throughout the Twin Cities, lighting up iTunes and Shazam with each radio spin and attracting the attention of Columbia Records, which signed Julia to a recording contract this past fall. “Inner Demons” debuted this week on the Adult Pop airplay chart in the U.S. and currently sits at #7 on iTunes’ Singer/Songwriter chart in the U.S., and within the Top 40 in Canada.

Thousand Foot Krutch

Third Single From EXHALE Hits SiriusXM Octane’s Top 10

As Revolver Magazine-Premiered Lyric Video Gathers 1.95 Million Views So Far

TFK Spotify Channel Grows To Nearly One Million Monthly

Rock favorites Thousand Foot Krutch have charted nine Active Rock hit singles since going independent in 2012. The aggressive follow-up to the band’s 2014 album, OXYGEN:INHALE, EXHALE has already sparked the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame video and hit single, “Running With Giants,” while its hard-hitting follow-up single, “Push,” broke down barriers and remained Top 15 on SiriusXM Octane’s Big ‘Uns Countdown chart for three consecutive months. The momentum is continuing as TFK extends its Top 10 (No. 7) Big ‘Uns Countdown hit and third single from the album, “Lifeline.”

“So I’m pushing the buttons down to Octane, and I get hooked on this song ‘Lifeline’ by Thousand Foot Krutch,” says respected music critic Bob Lefsetz in his Lefsetz Letters blog this week. “Its energy and forcefulness tapped into my anger…Maybe they’ll come through town and I can listen to the album ad infinitum to go thrust my arm in the air…”

“I’ve read Bob’s stuff for a while now, and secretly wondered if he’d take notice of what’s been happening in our independent years,” responds TFK lead vocalist, songwriter Trevor McNevan. “Love that he is connecting with the song and look forward to seeing him on the road.

“‘Lifeline’ is about a time in my life when I was feeling very overwhelmed, to the point of anxiety,” continues McNevan. “I felt like I was drowning in the waves of everything around me, and battling my own rational. The feeling of being alone in isolation wasn’t true, but it sure felt like it.”

In his blog, Lefsetz also urges music fans to listen to “Lifeline” at Spotify and YouTube. Premiered by Revolver, the YouTube lyric video already has over 1.95 million views, while TFK’s Spotify channel has surpassed 258,000 follows and continues to rapidly grow. In fact, over the last two months alone, the channel has grown from around 650,000 monthly listeners to nearly 1,000,000 unique monthly listeners.

Staying true to themselves, Thousand Foot Krutch members McNevan, bassist Joel Bruyere and drummer Steve Augustine have carved an independent path that continues to rack-up accolades well beyond its major label successes. EXHALE launched this past summer amidst wide acclaim on TFK Music and with marketing, sales and distribution through The Fuel Music. In addition to the singles aforementioned, the album features riff rockers “Incomplete” and “Give Up The Ghost,” second chances-themed “Born Again,” and “A Different Kind Of Dynamite,” which was tapped as the official theme song for the Dec. 18 WWE “Roadblock: End of The Line” pay-per-view event. The album also hit No. 1 on iTunes’ Rock Top Albums chart (No. 3 overall Albums) in the US with Top 5 overall albums chart placement in multiple countries.

Taking the new arena-shaking anthems and fan favorites on the road to see their extended family of fans coast-to-coast, TFK was featured for the first time this past summer on the mainstage at Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion and Rocklahoma, and is currently taking its music to arenas across America. All the latest tour news and band information can be found at www.thousandfootkrutch.com, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Bandsintown and Facebook, where the band has over one million likes.

sean + ur not has released his debut EP crumbs in motion available via SHOSH Records. Mastered by Hudson Alexander (Eytan Tobin, Internet Daughter, Kare), these 6ix songs were performed + recorded in a single live take. Warped samples and synths in each track transition into the next with a sharp shift in tempo and timbre. Similar to how each subway station feels a little different! crumbs in motion is inspired by the living soundscape of Toronto + other cities just like it, sean pulls a nostalgic palette of sounds into electro jams that reflect life in a metropolis of endless development.

“Posies 4 Daisies” + “Subway Synthesis” contain stretched samples of the ever present chime of the TTC’s closing subway doors, “A Pot of Golden Rainbows” samples coins spent at the laundromat, while other soundscapes are littered with percussion recorded on the street, a shower, crowds cheering and laughing, and more. sean uses half-forgotten classical training to his advantage, reflecting the early academic excursions in electronic music while not letting it supersede the playful tone of the EP. These songs form a singular impression of what the shared existence of city life sounds like. To give back for this inspiration proceeds from album downloads are being donated to the ACLU + CCLA until further notice.

Maren Morris

Nashville, TN – Columbia Nashville GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Maren Morris will release “I Could Use A Love Song” as her third single from her widely acclaimed, chart topping, label debut album, HERO.

The Arlington, TX native broke the news this past Friday night from the stage of the New Faces In Country Music showcase at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, TN, where Morris performed in front of a packed house of Country Radio representatives from all over the globe, where it was noted that Morris was the first artist in eight years to perform on the New Faces stage after winning a GRAMMY® since Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum in 2009.

About “I Could Use A Love Song” The New York Times calls out the new single as being “phenomenal, a meditative plaint with clear passion.” Billboard adds that the song “shows the vulnerability every true country artist strives to cultivate — both lyrically and melodically.”

Morris continues bringing her high energy live show this week taking her HERO Tour 2017, which is completely SOLD OUT, to the lucky ticket holders in Oxford, OH (March 1), Chicago, IL (March 2), Springfield, IL (March 3) and Louisville, KY (March 4) before making her return to the U.K. for the C2C (Country to Country) Music Festival March 10, 11 and 12.

It was just one year ago when Morris made her first appearance at C2C where she performed to an audience of 20,000 at The O2 Arena when the singer/songwriter was moved to tears when the overwhelming festival goers sang in unison Morris’ then debut single “My Church” back to her, which CBS Sunday Morning highlighted in their introductory profile of Morris.
